Never thought I'd actually say this... but it's fairly nice to have four brothers looking out for your interest!

Lyle advises as to what kind of job I should be looking for.

Danny's my inside man from Shell :P and helps out a lot with my resume/cover letters.

Neil knows the 'unspoken truths' about certain companies, and hence which to avoid.

...and Roy is persuading me to go to interviews, which I really should be doing, but I guess I'm just feeling a little unnerved by. I've never actually been to an interview, so the experience would be good and having someone to help me prepare keeps the butterflies away.

I'm heading home tomorrow! Woot! Woot!! I can't wait to get home though I'm starting to miss Bath already. But things to look forward to once I'm back; family, friends, Bath friends in August, and definitely raya!

Oh! Not forgetting papa's annual birthday family trip! I think this is our third consecutive year and this year we're going to Kuching! Aaah. How I've been wanting to go to the beach since last year! The extended family has been planning trips to PD, but always while I'm away. Sigh. Oh well.

Better late than never :)

Yesterday was fun! I'm gonna miss Milsom Place and I'm glad we managed to make our last Friday together just a bit more special <3

Had an amazingly good lunch at a French restaurant with Fi, Tim and Shaun, then a quick trip to Uni, followed by water fights at The Royal Crescent! Uhm, using both water guns AND plain drinking bottles. Lol. After that we did a bit less than cheerful grocery shopping, but dinner was goooooooooood! Dinner was in parallel with movie session and since I was literally shoo-ed out of the kitchen, so erh more like I was watching Ip-Man with Fi and Tim while Shaun made dinner. Hoho.

I'm loving summer already!

Awesome Saturday <3

Ben's pancake for Brunch at 2pm with Shaun, Nik and Mariam. Then, left to pick up Chia Chia at BTM with Shaun at 3.30pm (...was 30 minutes late). She hadn't eaten so we had Japanese food at 4pm. Lol. Then, waited around for Fi and Tim but their car needed oil change, so we finally went for a session of laser tag - just the three of us. We were joined by this (estimated) 8 yr old, 12 yr old and their mum. I kicked the 8 yr old's butt! ..but the 12 yr old got the better of me :P

After that, decided to get a drink but by chance met up with Fi and Tim on the way. So we got drinks and lounged around by the park. We then decided to go for bowling but the one in the city centre was fully booked till 11pm! Woah. They only had like, 5 lanes but it was a really nice, cosy place. I like. Anyway, we decided to go to the bowling alley further away from the centre and so, we all squeezed into Tim's car. Luckily, Ivan didn't tag along so we had enough space :P

The entertainment centre was pretty cool, it reminded me a lot of the layout in America; huge separated buildings surrounding a carpark. They had a cinema, another laser tag centre, bowling alley with arcade, and a few pretty good restaurants that we didn't have in Bath. We had a few rounds of Bowling (I obviously need practice!) followed by a round of arcade car racing. We were starving by 9pm so we headed to Frankie's and Benny's; New York Italian. Lol. It was gooooooood ;9 I had a ciabatta bread soaked in mushroom cheese sauce! We're planning on going there again on a Monday for their 1/4 off meal deals. Love.

Apparently, we weren't tired enough at midnight so we headed up to campus and went star gazing at the golf course. The stars were really bright and clear, and we managed to find the big dipper!!! After 20 minutes of feeling under dressed in the cold weather, we headed to Shaun's place to drop him and Chia Chia off. Chatted for awhile with Nik and Mariam (initially caught them brushing their teeth together in the bathroom - Nik in his robes, shirt and shorts. Lol!) and then Tim dropped Fi and I off at our place.

'Tis was a good day. I like. And now I've got to do work for tomorrow's meeting. Ugh. I'd rather read a book under a tree in spring weather (it's currently gloomy, think it's gonna rain). Pfft.

I had an interesting conversation with my dad today. I told him I'm planning on moving into a new place next year and I said it was cause I was tight with money; which is mostly true.... Then he asked me whether it was because of money or something else. He asked with a sneaky suspicious smile that made me feel like he was seeing right through me. Hm.

So, like any girl trying not to involve their parents too much in their private life, I laughed it off and said yes, but mostly because of the financial bit :)

I'm not sure whether to find this really cool or kindda eerie.

I've planned my 2 and a half days after exams finish, yaw! I'm so excited!!! But tomorrow's paper is the hardest, I don't feel like studying ;( Anywhoo... My list! (obviously I'm currently procrastinating. Sigh)

1. Book an apartment for Amsterdam weekend! Hee~
2. Check out (granny-like) bicycle rental
3. Book taxi for Saturday ride to the Airport (7am flight :3)
4. Finish off FMA anime ;)
5. Patiently wait for Shaun to watch Fairy Tail. Woot! Woot!!
6. Need to change money to Euros for trip
7. Need to get the Motianis a thank you gift
8. Just a wee bit of shopping <3

....Come to think of it, I don't think I have time to do all!

OH! OTHER GOOD NEWS!! So far exams have gone pretty well, considering. Alhamdulillah. Love family for all the doas and prayers. And Insyallah, Mama and Kak Leen are coming over in June! I can't wait!! Matta fair in March should confirm the flight dates. Woohoo <3<3<3

OH. MY. GOD!!!

...

I got a B for my micro labs assignment which I thought I had totally screwed up! I mean, I basically walked out of the lab with sort of less than feasible results. Thank god I managed to back it up with theoretical stuff that I actually DO understand!

As crappy as a B sound, I got a general remark of "Overall a very good assignment". BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA! Phew. Alhamdulillah. Thank you god. I couldn't ask for anything more. Like OMG! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! Totally made my day <3 I actually have a chance of not screwing up my unit now. Woohooo~ I feel like annoying Shaun but he's studying. Sigh. Will annoy everybody else at home :D

Shiewa... this post is for you. I had such a great time going out :) Dhiya, you suck for having to work and not be able to come have awesome Rakuzen sushi with us. Also, Whisk's red velvet cake and funky macaroons ;9

I went to revision class this morning and I sorta had the flu and cough. Halfway through the class, I sneezed and my mucus went inside my mouth. I didn't want to swollow it although it was tasteless ish but all gooey and all? So since I had another half an hour to go, i decided to just swallow it. It reminded me of egg yoke and that i should blog about it. Then it hit me, Shiewa wanted to be blogged. LOL. So yeah. My mucus reminding friend! Miss youus beach <3

Saturday "road trip" to London was AWESOME!!!!

Went window shopping at Westfield and visited Hyde Park Xmas Market (Winter Wonderland) which is just amazing. Everything's in German though and it wasn't really a market. More like a fun fair but it was fun! Thank you Juju for taking most of the pics. Hehe :) But it would have been nicer if Shaun was there. Tsk ;/
